Anna & Colby {Wedding} | Baton Rouge LA Wedding Photographer

Married: September 10, 2010
Ceremony – Nottoway Plantation – The Front Lawn
Reception – Randolf’s Ballroom

Anna and Colby were recently married at the lovely Nottoway Plantation in White Castle, Louisiana. You may remember Anna from her Nottoway bridal session. To say the wedding was beautiful wouldn’t do it justice. Every detail was planned out to perfection, including the complete surprise of the horse carriage. Not only did Anna’s father walk her down the aisle, but he also presided over the ceremony. I’m not going to lie, I may have shed a tear or two 😉 Have I mentioned just how cute this couple is together? They’ve got the *magic* for sure!

Special thanks to my friend Kaylynn Marie for helping out at this wedding! This is why I highly recommending choosing a package with two photographers. It would have been impossible for me to capture all of these moments without her being there.

Thanks Kaylynn for capturing these moments!

and these too!

Love these two pictures that Kaylynn captured of the newlyweds!

Hello Carleigh! {Central LA Newborn Photographer}

Carleigh was just 10 days old for her first professional photoshoot… and she worked her magic for us. And by magic, I mean… she definitely made me realize why it’s a really good idea to have a hundred blankets in my studio hehe 😉 She was so tiny, even though she looks like a chunky monkey in some of the images. My husband was actually home for this photoshoot, so he got to spend a little time holding her and “preparing” for our newborn.

Here are a few of my favorites from our session!

Oh my word – she’s absolutely precious! I love all the textural elements you’ve got as it really balances the smooth, soft, baby skin. Beautiful work, Amanda.

Yeah they are technically the same thing now days. It used to be dfnreieft when your parents were kids and you could question them about that. But yea i consider that cheating, but not its full worth. for example cheating on your wife is much worse then cheating on a date, yet still terrible don’t get me incorrect. So to answer your question simply, yes if your dating your also going out and considered boy friend and girlfriend, and you shouldn’t date or go on a date with someone else because that would be considered cheating.

Meet Addison {Central LA Children’s Photographer}

Oh how I love the personality on this little girl! I can totally see how she has stolen her momma’s heart! We took these photos on a horse ranch in Central. I was a little worried when I pulled up and saw that most of the horses had free-range to every pasture. I was hoping Addison wouldn’t be too scared of them…. she did great! In fact, she had NO FEAR when it came to horses (unlike me)!  She was more concerned about the horses then playing with bubbles (who would have thought)! The only time she cried during our session is when mommy had to take her away from the horses lol!

Talk about cute clothes too! Hoping her momma will hook me up with some hand-me-downs for Tenley LOL!

Amanda, your work has left me speechless. Thank you for your time, patience and talent. Addie just loved you; I won’t forget her walking to you and grabbing your hand to hold. Thank you so much for capturing my sweet baby girl in these fantastic photos.

Most of us are on a fixed income and need extra money, secliaply as the month draws to a close. Gas prices, inflation, economy or job loss the reasons are many, but what matters is a solution that works.When I was in this situation of needing extra money to run the show, I looked at 2 options: – a part-time job – an online businessA part-time job is one of the best ways to fill the need for extra income, every month. Starting an online business, on the other hand, (quite easy once you start doing it) is a lucrative way to have a passive income flow that pays your bills and helps you retire over the long run.The best way to earn extra income working from home is to combine the two options so that you always have a source of income to fall back on, come what may.

noah… 4 months {Baton Rouge Children’s Photographer}

 After a few technical difficulties, we were able to get Noah’s 4 month session done in the studio and I LOVE the way the images turned out. He was so good once again during his session. Hard to believe he’s 4 months old already! You can check out his newborn session here. Apparently he isn’t quite ready for supportive sitting, but he was definitely loving his tummy time!

Here are a few of my favorites so far in canvas gallery wrap previews.

Meet Audrey – 2 months {Zachary/Central/Pride Newborn Photographer}

Little Miss Audrey came all the way from Dallas, Texas for her 2 month session. I’d like to think that the visit was just so I could photograph her… but it was most probably to visit her grandparents, aunts, and uncles. She was such a cutie and a trooper for our session. I did learn one thing… and that’s not to expect my husband to wake up in the middle of the night if our baby is crying 😉
