Danielle + Daniel {Married} | Baton Rouge LA Wedding Photographer

Married: October 16, 2010
Ceremony – Healing Place Church (Old)
Reception – Country Club of Louisiana – Main Dining Room

Danielle and Daniel recently married at the old Healing Place Church on Highland Road in Baton Rouge. I loved pretty much everything about this wedding. Danielle definitely has the best taste! The wedding colors were awesome! Her birdcage veil was killer! And I know I may have gone overboard with the number of black and white images I’m about to post… but Daniel looks smoking hot in B&W 🙂

These two are definitely in love! I wish I could remember exactly what the preacher man said during the ceremony… but it was something to the extent of “this is what Christ looks like.” Afterall, marriage is the image of the cross. I loved seeing these two families come together for such a glorious day. And don’t even get me started on the reception. The Main Dining Room at the CCLA is to-die-for. So much natural light coming through the windows. Beautiful arrangements… insanely good food! Hey, don’t expect an 8 month pregnant woman to photograph your wedding without feeding her LOL!

I most definitely could not have pulled off this wedding without the help of Erin Guedry and Abigail Devall. Long story short, but two days before the ceremony I started experiencing something called Round Ligament Pains. My doctor advised me to take it very easy for the next few days. I told her that I had a wedding to photograph and she wasn’t exactly keen on the idea. So… many frantic phone calls later, Erin agreed to step in and help a sister out 😉 Danielle and Daniel definitely got one heck of a deal… three photographers for the price of two 🙂 Thanks soooo much ladies!!!

Now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for… 😉

Jessica + Adrian {Engaged} | Central LA Engagement Photographer

Meet Jessica and Adrian… such a fun couple to photograph! I can’t wait to be a part of their special day in March. It’s going to be gorgeous! There’s nothing better than having a couple be completely comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. I guess it helps the guy out when the first set of pictures are taken in front of old Chevy trucks and Mustangs 😉

Alaina {Bridal Session} | Baton Rouge LA Bridal Photographer

I’ve been counting down the days until I could finally make this post! We took Alaina’s bridal portraits all the way back in September. It was a muggy and humid day. Of course, the following week the temperatures went down drastically and we had to laugh at our luck! Alaina and Brian were married this past Friday and I can’t wait to share the wonderful images we captured on their big day. It was probably one of the most fun receptions I have ever attended (besides my own haha)!

I met Alaina through my husband. When Hunter was still in training for BRPD, he was on Alaina’s shift for a month. That’s right… this hot momma is one of Baton Rouge’s finest! Alaina was the perfect model for our session. Seriously… she rocked out any crazy idea I had and wasn’t incredibly worried about “getting her dress dirty.” That’s my kind of bride… and what dry cleaners are for 🙂

Ok, ok… enough ranting…. here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Who needs wallets

Seriously, when I first saw mini accordion albums it was as if a light bulb went off in my head. Why on earth have I never thought of offering this before? Really, you will never want to deal with wallet size photos in a little plastic sleeve, tucked inside your wallet ever again!

Mini accordion albums are perfect to use as mini folios and brag books. They come with a custom photo cover with concealed magnet for soft closure, as well as 10-12 customizeable panels. Pictured below is the 3″x3″ mini but you can also order a wallet size 2.5″x3.5″.

You can order just one mini or receive a discount when you order three. Just think… that’s one for mom/dad, and BOTH sets of grandmother’s 😉 Can we say fantastic birthday/mother’s day/Christmas presents???

Wedding Products

I’m so excited to show off my latest wedding product. When you book a wedding with me your package includes a DVD with all the final images in a high resolution format. What do I mean by final? I mean the very best images from your wedding day, edited in a ready-to-print format for you. I love the idea of being able to archive my images forever and being able to print the images at my own leisure… and I’m sure you feel the same way!

So the designer in me couldn’t just give my wedding clients a CD with a generic label in a plastic jewel case. No way! Instead, I completely customize the DVD label and case for your wedding!

Here are some product images from one of my recent weddings with Anna and Colby. Anna’s colors were red, black, and white. Classy! I had so much fun incorporating her colors into their DVD.

Feel free to contact me anytime at info@amandacausey.com for availability and packaging information.
